PresentationTube network is a non-profit and research-based project, developed and maintained by Dr. Alaa Sadik. The network has been established to help teachers and students record and share their video presentations in a new and more realistic way. Within few months, PresentationTube received a considerable local and international recognition from many educational organizations, universities and academicians with more than 10,000 visitors a day, 5,000 subscribers, and 500 video presentations in all subjects.
Dr. Sadik is an associate professor of educational technology at College of Education, South Valley University , Egypt, and currently work at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He received his Ph.D. in educational technology from the University of Hull, UK. Between 2003 and 2005, he worked as an educational technology consultant in the Partners for Competitive Egypt (PfC) project, funded by the USAID Egypt. Dr. Sadik provided many presentations, workshops, and keynotes in many countries, like Egypt, Oman, UK, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Spain, Malaysia, Cyprus, and Turkey. He shares his articles, projects and innovations through his website and blog. In 2011 Dr. Sadik received the Arab eContent Award, e-inclusion category, for developing his RealShow project to help teachers in the Arab world produce effective video materials for deaf learners.
